The Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders, and note that the 'i' is silent) is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are the largest in the world.
Arrival in Victoria Falls
On the aircraft approaching Victoria Falls, you may be given an Immigration and
Customs Form to fill out. If not, these will be available for you at the arrival
terminal. Please fill these in, one for each passport. On arrival at Victoria Falls
Airport, please proceed through Immigration formalities where you may be required
to purchase a visa depending on your Nationality. Collect your luggage from the
luggage rack and proceed to Customs. After customs is the entrance to the main
concourse where a Bushtracks representative will be waiting with your names clearly
printed on a name board.
Your Guide will welcome you and assist you with your luggage to your transfer vehicle. It is important that guests identify their own luggage and ensure that it is all there before embarking on their transfer to avoid any inconvenience.
The transfer time from Victoria Falls Airport to Victoria Falls Hotel is approximately 25 minutes. Along the way you will pass through the centre of Victoria Falls town and your guide will give you a brief introduction and orientation before dropping you off at The Victoria Falls Hotel.
It is important to remember that clearing immigration and customs can take up to 45 minutes for those in the Visa Queue.
Visas
Visa Fees are NOT included in the transfer rates and are always for the clients’ account.
Most nationalities are now required to pay for a visa in order to enter Zimbabwe. For most
passport holders, this can be purchased at the airport or border post. However some
nationalities are required to obtain a Zimbabwean visa before they travel. Please check
with the relevant Consular Service. A double entry visa is required if you are planning a
Chobe Day trip or Tour of the Eastern Cataract of the Falls in Zambia. If you are transiting
through Zimbabwe, to Botswana or Zambia on Airport Transfers and will be transiting back in
to Zimbabwe – you will require a double entry Visa for Zimbabwe and would need to check on
Visa’s for Botswana and Zambia where applicable.
Victoria Falls Hotel

has a wonderful view of the Victoria Falls Bridge and spray. The Hotel also has its own
pathway to the Falls and afternoon high tea is an institution! This is REAL colonial elegance

14:00 – You will be collected from The Victoria Falls Hotel and taken on a Tour of the Falls

Experience the Zambezi River as David Livingstone did and travel through waters once journeyed by him on his way to the Victoria Falls. Observe the aquatic bird life and other resident or migratory species. You may be fortunate enough to witness the great African elephant swimming from island to island, grazing or dusting themselves on the riverbanks. The Zambezi sunset is a highlight of the trip and captivates your magical experience on the Zambezi River.
18:00 – You will be collected from the Victoria Falls Hotel and taken on to The Boma for Dinner at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.
The Boma provides a unique cultural experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa, together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe, and its people. It is open for Dinner 365 days of the year. The Boma nestles in a Gusu Forest and is partly open to the spectacular African night skies. Advance reservations are necessary Open from 7 pm; Drumming starts at 9pm, 20 minute show. Buffet Menu, Dress Casual. Accept Visa Card only.

Day 2
06:45 – Breakfast at the Victoria Falls Hotel.
07:45 – You will be collected from Victoria Falls Hotel and taken on a full Day White Water Rafting including Lunch

16:30 – You will be transferred to the Hotel where you can freshen up for Dinner at the
Victoria Falls Hotel.
19:00 – Dinner at the Victoria Falls in the Livingstone Room
Livingstone Room
Enjoy dinner in the elegant Livingstone Room, with a classic a la carte or 7 course degustation menu and award winning wine list. Whilst the Livingstone Room reflects the century old hotels style of grandeur and opulence, the dress code has been relaxed for the convenience of the guest and no longer requiring jacket and tie. Dress code is however still smart - smart trousers, long sleeved collared shirt and closed shoes for men. Strictly no jeans, safari wear, shorts, sandals or sneakers. The Livingstone Room has a maximum seating capacity of 120 pax.
Day 3
08:00 – Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the Terrace at the Victoria Falls Hotel overlooking the Spray of the Falls
09:00 – Today you can select the Activities that you would like to part take in for the morning.
13:00 – After your morning activities you will be taken for a Bush Lunch and an Elephant Interaction
Upon arrival to the bush site, the Head Guide will give a short introductory talk including safety aspects. The guests will then be introduced to the Elephants and their guides. The guests will interact with the elephants for approximately 20 minutes and then a light lunch will be served whilst the Ellies hang around.
15:00 – you will be transferred back to the Hotel where you will be able to freshen up before Dinner.
17:00 – you will be collected from the Victoria Falls Hotel and transferred to the Moonlight Dinner Train Run.
For an idyllic, romantic interlude we have an evening run (Dinner on board minimum 20 maximum 60). The train will first, head for Sunset Cocktails on the majestic Victoria Falls Bridge, where you will sit in comfort and safety beneath the spray of the magnificent Victoria Falls. After sunset, a slow, luxurious steam journey south takes you into the Zambezi National Park for a romantic dinner.
Huge bonfires greet you on arrival and keep you warm in winter or relax in the cool breeze of a summer’s eve, wining and dining to the night calls of Wild Africa. After dessert the party begins entertainment (traditional or disco) and dance floors will be arranged at a very reasonable price. This is a 5 hour trip from 5pm until 10pm. Please note departure times vary with sunset times. We promise to serve your clients a superb dinner with a wide selection of local drinks and liquors. Our very friendly and efficient host and waiters will be on hand at all times.
Day 4
08:00 – Today you will have breakfast at the Hotel on the Terrace
11:00 – You will be collected and transferred to the Airport for your flight out.
