Day 1: Maun International Airport to Chief’s Camp / Eagle Island Camp
On arrival in Maun you will clear customs, go through passport control and then collect your luggage. A Mack Air representative will meet you and assist you onto your light aircraft for the flight to Eagle Island and Chiefs Camps. Flying time from Maun to Eagle Island Camp is approximately 30 minutes, flying time from Maun to Chief’s Camp is approximately 30 minutes.

Upon arrival at the camps you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink and escorted to your luxurious tents.

Chief’s Camp
Sanctuary Chief’s Camp is a luxury bush camp situated on Chief's Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve. This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered to have the finest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five. Guest accommodation comprises of 12 secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions. Each unit features a thatched roof, spacious seating area, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers, as well as a private game viewing deck with hammock and deck chairs. Each unit boasts a generous mosquito net on a four-poster bed, two wardrobes, a book shelf, writing desk and mini bar. The main camp area, houses the dining area, open bar area, curio shop, library and reception area. This structure has been built into the existing landscape, under a heavy canopy of mature Jackalberry, Sausage and Rain trees. The main deck area is split-level and offers expansive views over the floodplain while the lower level of the deck houses an exquisite swimming pool. A range of spa treatments are offered in the treatment room. Activities include game drives & seasonal mokoro excursions, subject to water levels.

Eagle Island
Eagle Island Camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta is the ultimate luxury safari paradise. Situated on remote Xaxaba island among a web of waterways and lush vegetation, it overlooks a lagoon that attracts a breathtaking variety of big game and exotic birds. Explore the region by local canoe, set out on a game drive or roam on foot.

Accommodation at Eagle Island Camp is everything you would expect of a luxury safari experience. All luxury tents are housed on raised wooden platforms, offering great views, and shaded by a traditional African thatch roof. The large private decks are furnished with easy chairs and a hammock, ideal for viewing wildlife, or for enjoying a private dinner in complete privacy.

PM - Lunch will be served after you have checked in.
16:00 - High Tea is served
16:30 - Depart in the late afternoon for an incredible Game Safari including a stop for sundowners.
19:00 - Dinner is served at the lodge.

Please note that due to the size of the camps in the Delta for 20 Double rooms you will have to split the group amongst 2 different camps - 10 rooms at both Chief’s Camp and at Eagle Island Camp.

Overnight: Eagles Island and Chiefs Camp DAY

Day 2: Overnight at Chief’s Camp and Eagle Island
05:30 - Wakeup call.
06:00 - Breakfast (Full English & Continental).
06:30 - Depart for morning game drive (+- 4 hrs) or enjoy a mokoro ride, meandering through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta (subject to water levels).
12:00 - Lunch
16:00 - High tea
16:30 - Depart in the late afternoon for the 2nd of your game activities. (+/- 3 hours). Sundowners are served in the bush before returning to the lodge for dinner.
20:30 - Dinner

Overnight: Eagles Island and Chiefs Camp

Day 3: Chief’s Camp / Eagle Island back to back
The morning commences with an early call for your morning game drive. After a light continental breakfast you will depart on your morning game activity.

Brunch is served when you return back to the lodge. After brunch you will check out and transfer from your respective lodges to the airstrips. Group 1 will then fly to Eagle Island Camp and Group 2 will fly to Chief’s Camp.

Welcome drinks are served at the lodges on arrival and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure before high tea is served and the groups depart on their afternoon game activity. Return to the lodges for dinner.

Day 4: Chief’s Camp / Eagle Island
05:30 - Wakeup call
06:00 - Breakfast (Full English & Continental)
06:30 - Depart for morning game drive (+- 4 hrs) or enjoy a mokoro ride, meandering through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta (subject to water levels).
12:00 - Lunch
16:00 - High tea
16:30 - Depart in the late afternoon for the 2nd of your game activities (+/- 3 hours). Sundowners are served in the bush before returning to the lodge for dinner.
20:30 - Dinner

Day 5: Chief’s Camp / Eagle Island to Chobe Safari Lodge
Rise to an early morning wake-up call and breakfast before departing on a morning Game Drive. Return to the lodge for brunch after your morning activity. The groups will depart from their respective camps after brunch and board light charter flights and fly to Kasane. Flying time from Camps to Kasane is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Kasane Bushtracks Botswana will be waiting to transfer the group to Chobe Safari Lodge. Transfer time from Kasane to Chobe Safari Lodge is approximately 10-15 minutes.

On arrival at Chobe Safari Lodge welcome drinks will be served. Lunch will be served on the terrace at leisure.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on our doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

15:00 - Depart on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River through the Chobe National Park.

The Chobe National Park in Botswana is one of the greatest game reserves in southern Africa and home to the largest elephant population in the world. The Chobe River flows lazily through the Caprivi flood plains and provides a haven for huge herds of buffalo and elephant, zebra, wildebeest and impala which are followed closely by predators including lion, hyena, the elusive leopard and the odd pack of the now rare wild dog. The bird life in particular is exceptional. Travelling to Chobe National Park includes an exciting crossing by boat of the Zambezi River at the convergence of four African countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Large flocks of birds, thunders of hippos and enormous crocodiles are in abundance.

19:00 - Dinner is served in the Concept Restaurant

The new concept restaurant features the indigenous and rich flavours of Africa. Choice of English or Continental Breakfast is available. Light lunch a la carte menu or buffet lunch is to choose from daily. Scrumptious buffet dinners offer wide variety of meals from exotic game meats, roasts, barbecues, stir-fries, Indian cuisine, or vegetarian dishes.

Day 6
05:30 - Early Morning Game Drive in the Chobe National Park.
09:00 - Breakfast at Chobe Safari Lodge.

Spend the day at leisure to relax around the lodge, indulge in spa treatments, or experience the wonders of the mighty Victoria Falls and the wealth of activities available in Zambia or Zimbabwe.

Overnight: Chobe Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Chobe Safari Lodge to Livingstone Airport, Zambia
05:30 - Early Morning Game Drive in the Chobe National Park.
08:00 - Breakfast at Chobe Safari Lodge.
09:30 - Depart for Livingstone International Airport for Proflight flight to Lusaka at 12h30 OR SAA flight to Johannesburg at 13h15.
