The Life of David Livingstone

The story of David Livingstone's life is a compelling "rags to riches" tale. Born into poverty, his meteoric rise to being considered the "greatest man of his generation", was due in no small part to his dogged determination and extraordinary physical and mental toughness. He was solely responsible for ending the East African slave trade and his ideas would capture the imagination of a generation of Europeans paving the way for that tumultuous period of history known as "The Scramble for Africa". As such, his life had a greater impact on African history than any individual before or since.

This compelling tale is not only entertaining and informative but is also a great inspirational story of one man's heroic quest against impossible odds. It will move and entertain your audience as well as giving them a fascinating insight into one mans extraordinary impact on the course of African history.
